- It's godly. I started with Imagine, and it was amazing and all, but
- lightwave is so completely different. For example, the imagine detail
- editor is the modeler. The only other screen is the layout view,
- which is like a one-window scene editor. You position the objects,
- and manipulate them. Motion paths are *so* easy, it's all key frames.
- The layout computes the line automatically. :) You can adjust how
- sharp a turn to take, how fast to take it, etc. with spline controls
- right on the layout screen (a dialoge box)

- Lightwave has all sorts of add-ons, etc. Some people make macros for
- modeler, others make actual plug-ins. Expect LW for the amiga to run
- in the hundreds of dollars, however. It's a commitment, so I'd
- suggest tracking down demo screens or videos. (Buy one or two of the
- lightwave videos and see what it's like)
